PROFILE:
Daniella is a woman who was once happily married. She had an average life with a nice house, a good income and a wonderful husband. There was one problem though: they couldn't get any children. Her problem grew but she hid it from her husband and the rest of the outside world. She was thinking about how her perfect child would be more often each day. She was regularly peering at babies and baby stuff. In her mind she was more and more becoming a mother. One day, she laid her eyes on what she thought to be 'her' baby, in a mall. The infant lay in a pram, for a moment unsupervised by its parents. In the spur of the moment she stole the child, put it into her car and fled. She drove for miles and was getting pretty far when she was apprehended by the police. In the meantime she had become a proud mother of her child, fleeing from everyone who stood in the way of her happiness. Now she is admitted to the Asylum, and no longer approachable. Not even for her husband, who comes to visit her often and wants to give her all of the love in the world. She has long hair, wears only a light night-gown and walks around bare footed. Since her admittance she always carries a mended doll.
LYRICS:
Running fast to my car, going nowhere far away from here.
It was my last mission. They found us and my baby disappeared.
We searched for him so long, just knew I was satisfied.
I was a mother for one night.
Today I found our long expected son. Sorrow's over joy has begun.
So you're not gonna take our kid away.
Nobody's going down now. You will love me for my deeds.
So don't you ever try to break with me.
Chorus:
In my life I thought I had it all.
A lack was caused and all that's left is my mended doll.
Spent my days staring at the wall.
A lack was caused and all that's left is my mended doll.
I just found you, my long expected son. Right in that mall, I never felt so strong.
So don't you cry now. With me is were you belong.
Insane and so confined. And justice for all, but look who the court consigned.
It's over for now. But I'll find him back somehow. |
