PROFILE:
In a badly lit corner of the Asylum, the old woman staggers against the walls. Although she has been here longer than any of her fellow patients, she still peers at her surroundings as if they were unknown to her. Her beautiful eyes have been fixed to a bleak stare by the long years; the ultimate atonement for a love never forgotten. Her eternal silence is only interrupted by crying-fits that can last for hours. The only therapy she currently gets is purely focussed on preventing suicide attempts, something her arms show she has tried many times, but never came close to succeeding. Many decades ago, someone came up with the nickname Ivy for her, which is currently still the only thing she responds to. No one, including the members of the staff, knows her real name, or has knowledge of the terrible event that occurred and changed her life forever.
On these walls Ivy remains.
